About Me

My name is Ray Lass. I’m a libertarian anarchist. I became a libertarian, the way many do, as a converted small government Republican. For a long time, I thought that a small, constitutionally bound government was necessary to protect private property and and enforce violations of the NAP, i.e. courts, jails, national defense.

I became an anarchist when I realized two things: there was nothing magical about defense, or protection services (police), or courts that couldn’t be provided by the market, and that with it’s coercive taxation and monopoly on force, the State is fundamentally antithetical to individual liberty.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, as well as as a Master’s Degree in Accounting. My main interests are politics, history, philosophy, and economics.
